TO CLOG OR NOT TO CLOG?

My friend Lisa has been having nightmare flashbacks of her primary school clogging days. I assured her that I would find her a clog she loved, and here it is. I think these Topshop PRIMA Sling Clogs are the perfect find. Reasonably  priced (£80.00), the right shade of tan, chunky hardware, studded details and the right height. They also come in black. You can buy them online from Topshop or if you live in NZ they are stocking them at The Department Store for NZ$180.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STORE IN THE WORLD

In my opinion The Department Store, on Auckland's North Shore, is the most beautiful concept store in the world. I am not just saying this because it is in my hood and I would sleep there if they'd let me. It really is amazing and was recently voted "The Best New Retail Destination in the World", by UK's trend defining Monocle magazine.
The Department Store is the brainchild of Karen Walker, Stephen Marr and Dan Gosling of Black Box. This beautiful space spans over three levels and provides a unique shopping experience. The ground floor features Karen Walker, Black Box, The Marr Lab, Simon James and The Tea Room. On the first level is my favourite getaway Lucy and the Powder, where you can enjoy specialist skin treaments or  chill with friends while having manis and pedis. The top floor, hosted by Stephen Marr salon, is where I spend most of my time. Featuring industrial decor, a well groomed garden wall and sky lights so you can cloud watch while being shampooed, this is where I go for GOOD hair. My hairdresser Hannah is my secret to the perfect faded blonde and gives the best head massages ever. To top it all off, UK's Topshop now shares this floor with Stephen Marr. I can't wait to get home! For much more info on The Department Store, click here.
